I'm still here!
It has been a while since I have blogged, a combination of not knowing what to say and not really having anything to say. I have noticed that no one I "follow" has posted anything new lately either. I guess everyone is on break. The kids are all doing well, Maddux is totally out of his sleeping stage and keeping me busy. Brooke is learning a new word everyday it seems like, today she came up to me and asked for a banana... it is nice to know exactly what she wants and not have to deal with crying as much. Jessie had a friend over the other night, Ziggy is her best friend. They spent all evening out in the yard running around. Matt has been working a lot, in fact he is leaving for overtime in an hour or so. Meagan and I went to see Les Mis on Saturday, I wasn't a huge fan but it was nice having a girls night out with my sister... Ms. Robin, you will be happy to know I almost finished my margarita at dinner (I don't think I can keep up with the grandmas but I am working on it :)! I have to go get dinner out of the oven but I hope to see some new posts this week!

I was thinking the same thing this week, no one has posted lately. and it is nice once you can understand what exactly the kids want! the crying DEFINITELY stops when they know you understand them. Colton hardly ever cries anymore, unless he is really upset or hurt.
Oh my dear...."almost" (lol) you have a LONG way to go to even get close to The Grandma's but i do appreciate the effort. :) Hope you and the abbies are good and if it all starts to get ya down...rememeber...they do grow up and move out. :)But seriously...hold them for as long as you can cause the day will come that they won't want you to anymore.
your momma promised me she would change her post over the weekend. It is now Tuesday and she still hasn't changed it! Glad you are getting into a routine with BOTH babies. It takes a while but once you get the routine down, it's nothing to it. HA HA. Robin's right, they do eventually move out. Hopefully, Brittany will be moving out next year. This will be the first time Allen and I have had the house to ourselves in over 23 years. Hip,Hip,Hooray!!!
Britt will take Brooke off your hands while we are there. Maybe you can even take a nap on Saturday.

I know what you mean about posting in your blog when there's nothing interesting going on or your just too busy.
I'm glad to hear your doing well.
Missed you! But then again, this is the first time I have checked in over a week. I guess I better post soon before I get more 'threatening' emails from Rita! Ha!
